We are the Identity Caching Platform team. Our team within Microsoft Identity provides the software platform which empowers our developers to bring their best game and enables them to enjoy what they do. The Identity Caching Platform team is on a mission to deliver fundamental components to connect Microsoft Identity services to the world. 

We are looking for an experienced Systems Architect to help us continue to evolve, expand, and define our software platform and infrastructure. Our focus as a platform team is to provide an expanding, world-class distributed infrastructure with a focus on resilience, scalability, monitoring & observability, and self-serviceability.

Required Qualifications:

• Software Development or DevOps experience
• Experience operating in highly available, world scale distributed services environment
• Fluent in one or more OOP language (including but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, Python)
• Creative problem-solving skills, ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both Linux and Windows Operating systems and their administration 
• Professional experience with large scale internet applications, distributed systems, client/server and multitier architecture. 
• CI/CD infrastructure knowledge.
