This new offering is just scratchingthe surface for all the value we aim to provide to Microsoft Teams in the coming years. And to take Teams Premium to the next level and beyond, we are looking to onboard a strong Principal Product Manager who can help us build the strategy, product, and deliver value on the vision of better way to meet.

You must be experienced and skilled in fast paced execution to help deliver our vision of bringing premium value in Microsoft Teams to the customers. You are someone who 

  • has strong conviction and focus on customer needs

  • thrives in a bit of chaos then creates the process needed to execute smoothly at scale to deliver impact and results 
  • drives impactful change through metrics and data
  • can inspire teams across the company to work together towards common goals

You will be responsible to create a roadmap of Teams Premium product spanning across all three pillars of personalized,intelligent and secure and even beyond. As Principal Product Manager, you’ll be working with Marketing, Business Planning to drive market research, find product market fit for the value, and directly with our lighthouse customers to validate the hypothesis and the need of the premium value. You’ll also work multiplegroups within Microsoft to own and define the roadmap for Teams Premium.

  • Research, define and prioritize the investments we should make for Teams Premium in the three value pillars of personalized, intelligent, and secure and even beyond. 
  • Develop a clear product roadmap balancing business, technical, and experience considerations
  • As the product owner, virtually lead the many contributing marketing, business planning, engineering, research, and design teams to ensure successful execution of scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Present the plans, roadmap and execution updates to Microsoft CVPs in regular ROBs
  • Ability to travel to Prague, Czech Republic or China periodically (where permitted)

Successful candidates need to exhibit these attributes that will enhance their ability to succeed in this role:

  • Strong background and experience in product building, product strategy and monetization 
  • Desire to succeed and motivate engineers and designers through inspirational leadership
  • Demonstrates both strong vision, strategy, and big picture capabilities in problem solving approaches
  • Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities in a high pace environment
  • Proven ability to execute swiftly without compromising experience
  • Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Comfortable to work with c-level executives internally and from some of the largest companies in the world
  • Ensure appropriate and effective communication flow among internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualification: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or business. MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience shipping enterprise grade solutions.
