Software Group Engineering Manager - Microsoft

We are looking for a Group Engineering Manager to drive key investments within the Intelligence Platform organization.  

As a Group Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include: 

• Partner across stakeholders to develop a strategic roadmap for the platform that spans our diverse portfolio
• Work with senior leaders and other team members to shape technical strategy and architecture investments
• Scale up the organization through hiring to support accelerating our mission
• Create an inclusive environment that attracts and retains high-performing engineers
• Coaching and mentoring senior leaders within the team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience

• 5+ years of team management and/or technical leadership experience
• 5+ years of software development experience building scalable, distributed services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading complex software projects over multiple releases covering all stages of the product/service lifecycle
• Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with any enterprise BI tool
