Microsoft Ireland is home to several engineering teams that work on products and services such as CFS Financial Experiences, Microsoft Digital, Microsoft Sign team, Identity, OMEX, Office 365, Teams, Azure Reliability, Dynamics 365, etc.

Some of these teams are focused on User Interfaces, whereas others are more focused on Backend services or Infrastructure. Infrastructure refers to software that is common and other groups depend on.

As we are adding and growing more of such (usually) DevOps engineering teams, we are also looking for people to manage and grow them. In this job, you will have access to a variety of experienced professionals to help you expand your knowledge and build this team in which members can thrive and establish a culture that is aligned with the Microsoft core values. You will collaborate with other groups, to define and deliver new and exciting projects.

CFS Financial Experiences team, within Commerce and Ecosystems (C +E) as part of the Cloud + AI organisation, builds, supports, and transforms the processes and services that our partners around the world use every day. In this team, you will have the opportunity to lead, design and develop creative and compelling solutions that accomplishes business outcomes in an automated, timely, cost-effective, compliant, and secure way. The Financial Experiences team is responsible for building world class services and solutions that allows Microsoft to run financial processes at scale, remain competitive, agile, and be a world class industry reference. We build and extend solutions that enable Microsoft to perform financial planning, procurement, and case management, through amazing experiences that are simple, delightful, and responsive to the speed of business.

You will lead and develop software and services at scale, innovating on the latest technologies and modern engineering practices. Delivery of solutions will be done via a DevOps model where success not only includes delivering business value but having a cost-effective, reliable, stable and supportable solution. We partner closely with several engineering teams to ensure a great solution is delivered that can help our customers around the world. You will be an integral part of the digital transformation that is happening in Microsoft.

  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned Engineering manager with a proven track record of managing the team and delivering programs in a collaborative feature crew structure.

The Identity engineering team builds and manages Microsoft’s online identity providers for all of Microsoft’s online services and platforms like Azure, Office, Xbox, and HoloLens. We boldly pursue big ideas that power transformational advances in online security and user management. Our work spans both the consumer and enterprise space and can be found in internet scale online services, the Windows operating system and most phones and handheld devices. Identity engineering employees have deep technical expertise, customer insights, and a clear point of view that comes from first-hand, very large-scale experience. We are engineers, technology leaders and experts, digital transformation change agents, and customer advocates. 

Our teams are seeking experienced and passionate engineering leaders to join us as we create and deliver mission critical services and processes to enable Microsoft’s online presence. You will have the opportunity to build top quality data and engineering platform that improves customer security posture, through horizontal policy enforcement and password protection. This team has both machine learning experts and engineering guru. You can learn and grow expertise in both fields. The projects in this team are highly visible at CVP level.
