Senior Technical Program Manager - Microsoft Health - Microsoft

We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to join us at Health ILDC and help us make a difference in people’s lives.

Health ILDC builds innovative technologies for the healthcare industry powered by artificial intelligence. We build products that allow healthcare organizations to improve their services and patient outcomes and empower patients with access to health data and knowledge.

Health ILDC is part of Microsoft Health & Life Sciences in the Cloud + AI division. We build cloud services on Azure to deliver technologies powered by conversational intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, and diverse algorithmic approaches. We deliver products to millions of users around the world.

We are looking for a strong Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team, reporting locally in Israel. Responsibilities:

• Drive detailed functional specifications for software features focused on Health AI and Patient Engagement scenarios.
• Work with engineering leaders on detailed engineering workplans and ensure quality deliveries.
• Take on Incident Manager shifts to make sure production system issues are handled and work with support functions to resolve critical customer issues.
• Build and prioritize the detailed product backlog in Azure DevOps to deliver on the roadmap.
• Drive security, privacy and compliance fundamental requirements, processes and reviews required around shipping the product.
• Drive changes that address customer needs and priorities coming from the business. Work with relevant stakeholders to adjust requirements and prioritization according to new incoming work, team capacity and new business and compliance requirements, while reconciling competing priorities.
• Drive detailed sprint planning.
• Drive cross-company collaborations, alignments, and technical dependencies.
• Act as technical advisor to customers and partners, drive preview programs, engage with customers for early feedback, questions, use case implementation advice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to align with the business team and assist with strategic wins.

Required:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Strong technical and analytical abilities, problem solving, and design skills.

• 4+ years software development background.

• Experience with healthcare data and systems, Health & Life Sciences domain experience or biomedical knowledge is mandatory.
• 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Experience in handling security, privacy, and compliance-related processes.
• Track record of delivering services at scale and supporting complex production systems and enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience as PM of cloud-based solutions/services on public cloud like Azure.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, as well as ability to listen.
• Thorough, accurate and detail oriented.
• Team player, positive attitude, collaborative, dedicated, hard worker, makes things happen.

Preferred:

• Experience working in Azure.
• Conversational AI / chatbot development experience is a significant advantage.
• NLP experience is a significant advantage.
