Senior Software Engineer - Microsoft

Azure Consumption Platform (ACP) team in CPX Organization, is chartered to provide a low latency and high throughput billing platform for Azure, M365 etc. products, power various commerical Analytics for business growth and customer nurture. As a Software Engineer on ACP team, you will specialize in building performant and distributed systems for critical business scenarios. You will be responsible for envisioning, designing, coding, validating, and shipping key features. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people from across the company, giving you a wide exposure and a broad technical surface area.

· Design, implement and own the optimal data processing architecture/systems for Big Data/Analytics pipelines and metrics leveraging Azure and open source technologies.

· Maintain an unwavering focus on Quality of Service· Build core datasets as well as scalable and fault-tolerant pipelines· Participate actively in detailed design, code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering goals· Closely collaborate with partner teams when engineering & business dependencies exist

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience·

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Open Source Big Data Stack such as Hadoop, HIVE, SPARK, HBASE etc.
•  Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external partners effectively.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
