Insights is the marquee module in the Microsoft Viva Suite; one of Microsoft’s biggest launches in a decade, with the aim of building the first employee experience platform (EXP) for the hybrid era. Our vision is to foster a culture of human connection, purpose, growth, wellbeing, and results through severalmodules, e.g. Viva Connections, Viva Insights, Viva Topics, and Viva Learning. We are looking for a Product Manager for the Viva Insights team. This person will be responsible fordriving revenue and usage growth of our premium product. They should demonstrateexperience driving similar growth in other B2C or B2B products and the experience of building consumer grade UX flows. 

This role can be based out of any of Microsoft offices in the US, with flexibility for in-office or work from home schedules.  

Key deliverables:

• Identify opportunities to improve user experience of the current product– measured by CSAT, NPS and support escalations related to user experience

• Develop hypotheses to achieve product-market fit for premium products that haven’t achieved it yet
• Grow the usage of premium features that have product market fit while keeping activation, engagement, and retention high
• Identify ways to drive conversion of freemium user base to premium
• Run experiments to improve discoverability, improve CTRs to bottom of the funnel, reducing cognitive load
• Analyze customer behavior through data from targeted interviews, feedback, and usability tests to get insights on why customers don’t return after downloading the app, why they drop out after the signup stage, etc. and ultimately address these issues.

Basic

• 8+ years of work experience in product/program managementwithin the tech (software) industry

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in CS, engineering or related field

Preferred

• Knowledge of the overall process for developing, releasing, and maintaining products. This includes knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering, design, data and a host of other GTM organizations in product development, release and maintenance.
• Ability to identify common issues and considerations for delivering, updating, or deprecating a product.

• Ability to create effective and forward-thinking strategies and action plans for both long- and short-term projects. This includes the ability to engage others to commit to the vision by communicating specific goals and objectives.
• The role requires strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, process management, ability to influence other stakeholders and achieve common ground, experience of working with engineering, design and data teams on a day to day basis, design thinking, ability to deal with ambiguity, experience of defining and running experiments, drive and action bias.
