You will be building cloud data solutions meeting scales that few companies in the industry are required to support, that leverage state of the art technologies to deliver holistic protection to a user base of 10’s of thousands of States level organizations, enterprises and businesses around the globe. The Microsoft 365 Security (MSec) - Advanced Threat Protection team is responsible for delivering a constantly evolving set of services and solutions to meet the sensitive and continuously changing landscape of our ever evolving attackers.

The Research Enablement and Experience team has been set up in the last year with the mission of improving our Researchers and Data Scientists efficiency through the better use of the data. The team is concentrating on fundamentals including Infrastructure build, platform delivery, team set-up and early value delivery through use cases. The focus is driving implementation so we can maximize the effective use of data science techniques, new tools, and the available data across all our Data Scientists and Researchers R&D; from those reporting the data, those conducting data discovery through to experts in data and computational science.

This will require interpersonal qualities, an appreciation of the value of data and the ability to drive the embedding of new ways of working.

They key to this role is to be outward facing working with people across entire R&D. We are making available Data and there are many in R&D, who want to get their hands on it. This person will learn about the researchers and data science tools and approaches to re-use this data and will work with across researchers’ organization to teach, educate and train, and make researchers experience more collaborative and productive. They develop and deliver standard processes and guiding approaches to maximize enablement of the data capabilities to as many as possible. Working together in co-operation with data researchers, gathering feedback, and refining approaches is a key part of the role.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Coding experience with c#, Python or another equivalent, with architecture and design skills
• Hands-on experience in public cloud and public cloud stack

Advantage:

• Solid knowledge with Data Sharing landscape and technologies, like Eyes-Off environments, Digital Research Environments
• Experience in the isolated / malicious test environments and cyber world
