The Xbox Emerging Technologies team is seeking a Business Administrator to support our business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate quickly within a fast-paced environment, embrace challenge & ambiguity, and has an innate passionate for being inclusive.

We’re looking for someone who is detail oriented and has strong verbal and written communication skills. This role is critical to the success of our broader team and will be actively involved in supporting gaming leaders across Xbox.

Responsibilities:

  • Support calendar management for senior leaders in gaming
  • Ensure compliance of security groups, internal communication channels, and distribution groups
  • Serve as an extension of the business operations team, regularly carrying out administrative tasks on behalf of the team
  • Provide onboarding support for new employees, vendors, and interns
  • Assist team with execution of event logistics and team celebrations under the direction of senior colleagues
  • Support ad hoc project-management related activities within the gaming organization as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in an administrative, customer service, or business/front office support role for an enterprise technology company
  • 2+ years prior event/meeting planning experience
  • 1+ years of experience providing executive calendar support

Comparative Qualfications: 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint and Teams)
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Works well under pressure with minimal supervision 
  • Great team collaborator  
  • Positive attitude and learn it all mentality 
  • Proximity to Redmond, WA with ability to travel to the office 3-5 times per week
