Are you excited about the possibility of changing the world by working on the largest Object Storage service in the world? Azure Storage is a foundational platform which powers five different storage services – Azure Data Lake Storage, Blob Storage, Table Storage, Queue Storage, File Storage and Disk Storage. This platform hosts data from some of the largest companies in the world plus supports all of Microsoft’s largest online businesses including Xbox, One Drive and Bing, and has scaled to store exabytes of customer data.

Azure Storage Front End (FE) processes billions of requests per second by performing common tasks like authentication, authorization, caching, encryption, business logic, validation, and orchestrating distributed activities across the backend layers for data partitioning, persistence, and replication. FE supports a multi-protocol system where customers can access their Blob Storage through REST, HDFS, SFTP and NFSv3.
