The Microsoft 365 admin center team builds the administrative experience for all Microsoft 365 commercial users. Millions of monthly active administrators and partners depend on this website to run their business and manage their tenants. To support this charter, we are looking for a highly driven, self-directed, results-oriented Software Engineer to execute the platform effort. To succeed, you will work in partnership with program management, other developers on the team, and with partner teams.

In this DevOps-focused role, you will be working across teams to drive best practices in Azure stamp management, keep certificates and secrets current, manage azure spend to targets, manage and maintain inner engineering loop with high standards.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven design and development experience in Azure (such as Cloud Service, Service Fabric, Monitoring, Key Vault, Redis Cache, Cosmos DB & ARM Migrations etc.), PowerShell and Power BI.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, great teamwork, and passion to delight customers.
  • Solid OOD/OOP knowledge and skill. Dot Net & C# knowledge is preferable.
  • Hands on experience with network security is a plus.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,400 - $151,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,300 - $165,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
