Software Engineer II - Microsoft

We are seeking customer obsessed and passionate software engineers to join us as we build a new set of self-service experiences for a brand-new Identity Health platform for our customers. This platform will enable our customers to visualize the overall health, detect and solve problems early, as well as recover from inadvertent mistakes. You will develop software and services at scale, innovating on the latest technologies while mentoring other team members.

You will have the opportunity to shape the health experiences for millions of our customers through the delivery of delightful, performant, and maintainable features in our web apps and the services that power them.

• Work with Program Managers, Designers, and other engineers to drive development of new user experience and web service features.
• Deliver end-to-end complete software engineering solutions, including implementation, testing, and using telemetry to monitor success and gain business insights.
• Abstract common web dev functionality, like telemetry, UI components, and localization, into reusable libraries for other engineers to use.
• Build an effective and agile development organization using industry leading best practices.

Required:

• At least 3 years of professional software development and design experience, using one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering or related field, or completion of a Code/Developer academy program
• One or more of the following skills will be highly regarded:  
  • Expertise in building and optimizing large scale, modern web apps which use data to drive rapid, incremental improvements
  • Experience with writing unit and E2E tests and optimizing build and release pipelines to enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team  
  • Expertise in one or more of the following frameworks or languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Fluent UI
