Technical Program Manager for Security Analysis

The ACE team is the assurance arm of Microsoft’s Digital Security and Resilience (DSR) organization. Our team is a dynamic organization chartered with providing security assurance services to Microsoft’s enterprise to help effectively identify and mitigate security risks. We are a high energy, highly collaborative team. 

The successful candidate for this role will work across teams and service lines to execute on our ACE strategy for providing end to end security assurance for Microsoft. This includes designing, owning and building our data driven stories. You will have the opportunity to work with engineering teams throughout the development cycle to influence secure design and continuous security of these services.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the data driven stories and metrics for our Security focused businesses.
• Develop & execute on a strategy that focuses on effective and efficient security processes to mitigate risk for Microsoft’s enterprise.
• Partner with key organizations to unify security goals and objectives
• Communicate plans to executives and key influencers
• Work with Microsoft internal leaders to advocate security & risk management into their businesses.
• Must be able to work autonomously as well as in team environments, often in stressful, high impact situations
• Must be familiar with industry best practices, certifications, and standards around secure development, security assurance, and supply chain risk management.

Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years technical program management experience shipping software or services
• 2+ years Data Management/Analytics experience
• The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

• Working knowledge information security and risk management processes and controls including security operations, security architecture, security assessments, security engineering, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to see the big picture
• Experience managing matrixed organizations
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong cross group and the ability to negotiate with senior talent across the company is critical

Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
